Whether you would like to help look after Kingston's green spaces, learn more about them or just get outdoors, we can help. Kingston has a number of volunteering organisations dedicated to preserving our green spaces.

We aim to raise the profile of existing events, and encourage development of more events to take place within the borough, these can include volunteer work days where you can take part in conservation activities, carrying out surveys or attending workshops or lectures to learn about Kingston's ecology.

We at the network can always do with an extra pair of hands, from helping with administrative tasks to leading conservation days. All these voluntary projects can be beneficial for people looking to pursue a career in the environment sector, providing valuable learning and networking opportunities. Volunteering is also a great way to meet new people and improve your health.

If you wish to find out more or be added to our mailing list please email us at marina@kingstoneco.org.uk, and we will email you back as soon as possible.

Our latest project is setting up a Kingston Cemetery Nature group. We meet every third saturday of the month between 10am and 1pm to do whatever is needed to improve the cemetery habitat for wildlife. Find out more about the group on our Facebook Page. Photos of the project below:
